An increasingly popular add on to a party or other social gathering is the photo booth; not the impersonal cube you use to get passport or ID photos taken, but somewhere to have some fun and have some zany photos snapped.

The advent of social media has made photos more popular than ever as people share their adventures and fun times with family and friends, so the photo booth is a worthwhile part of a social gathering and thus likely to see a lot of action.

Inflatable photo booths

We’re experienced entertainment specialists offering photo booth hire in Essex and nearby areas with various packages, and these can be added to anything from a general birthday or other party, outside gathering and of course children’s events – all of which we can organise and provide facilities for if desired.

The booth itself is inflatable and is available for hire in two sizes; a 8 x 8 x 4 foot version suitable for four or an 8 x 8 x 8 foot type suitable for eight people can be specified.

Different colours and an attendant

The photo booth can be specified in a specific colour so matching a themed gathering if needs be or set to change colour periodically throughout the occasion.

A staff member is provided to act as a booth attendant to help all the visitors get the best photos possible and – if they like – get kitted out in costume accessories such as hats, wigs and props to make the photos more fun and personalised.

Different effects can be created with LED lighting and, along with a print for each visitor, photos can be accessed digitally for saving onto phones, other devices and of course sharing on social media.

Various packages

To get the most out of a photo booth hire, various packages based on hire duration can be specified:

Bronze package (two hours duration)

  • Inflatable photo booth
  • Colour changing LED lights
  • Booth attendant
  • Selection of props
  • Unlimited visits for guests
  • Prints for each guest and link to downloaded photos

Silver package: this is one hour longer at three hours and adds a guest book to the above features.

A guest book provides an extra set of photos and a means for people to comment so adding to the personalisation of the event – especially good for weddings and birthdays.

Gold package: is a four hour hire and adds a personalised photo strip to the features included in bronze and silver packages.

Platinum – the top package is a five hour hire and adds a DJ (also for five hours).

The packages range in price from just under £250 from bronze to a little under £600 for platinum, and extra time can be added to all the packages if desired.

Other add ons

A picture frame so all the photos can be hung thus providing a great souvenir and record of all those who attended and visited the photo booth.

Another way of personalising the event is a backdrop that can, if desired, show the name and location of the event in each photo.

If anyone hasn’t got a means of storing photos, then a USB memory stick can be provided at extra cost.
